World War 2 Prisoners of War.Working on Estate.

During the second World War, there were German and Italian prisoners of War in camped on the estate, most in a special built camp, on the site of  a World War One Camp, theses were mostly Germans.  Italians were housed in the village, mainly in special built sheds to accommodate 2  , only one of theses sheds still survives.
